Hi all, my name is Angela. I am the receptionist at The Big Disability Group. I have been in the post for around six months and love it. I love meeting people. I also love the fact that I am in a place where you see the results of your work when people thank you for your help and feel so much better.
I just want to say what a fantastic team of people that help keep The Big Disability Group the fantastic place that it is - from the management team to staff members, the volunteers and all the groups that use our building. It's a pleasure to know you all and thank you for making my place of work a beautiful place to be.
What a week we had last week starting off with our tour de Millport. I have never laughed so much (i was the one that fell off the bike!) Thank you to everyone that sponsored me. I would like to thank Con Cunningham and Arthur from Hungry bite for their generosity.
Then we had a lovely couple hand in a donation to say thank you for all our help. It's things like this (hearing from happy clients) that make our job worthwhile.
Also thank you to Old Kilpatrick Senior citizens club for their very kind donation too. We can't thank you enough. Your money will help us do so many things for the people we support.
Last week was a very good week at BDG and I’m looking forward to seeing what next week brings.
