Last week we attended the Glasgow Disability Alliance Triennial General Meeting and Learning Festival. It was great to speak to everyone at the event and let them know about what we do. GDA have been long time friends and supporters of Improving Lives and it was great to be back at another of their fabulous events at the Doubletree Hotel.

We are absolutely blown away by the kindness and generosity of the team of volunteers from Balfour Beatty who gave up 2 days to help us redecorate our premises!! Xmas Lunch
Our Sight Loss Group enjoyed a lovely Xmas lunch yesterday. We enjoyed our annual trip to 71 @ The Quay at the Clydebank Campus of Our Sight Loss Group is back on 29th January in the Concord Centre in Dumbarton and are looking forward to making lots of exciting plans for 2026.

Halloween Fundraiser

Challenge Poverty Week
Last week we were honoured to be invited along to attend the ‘Our Voices, Our Stories’ event at Clydebank Town Hall in Clydebank as part of Challenge Poverty Week. Oktoberfest
At the weekend we attended Oktoberfest in Clydebank. This event was organised by Councillor Sophie Traynor in partnership with the Parkhall, North Kilbowie & Central Community Council and YSort It with the aim of creating an afternoon of free activities for local children and families to enjoy. Job Fair
Yesterday we spent the morning at the Working4U Job Fair at Clydebank Town Hall where we got to chat to lots of people about the role of a Personal Assistant and the vacancies we have live at the moment.
